Oude Stadhuis Hasselt
This late-gothic building from 1550 is one of the oldest city halls in the Netherlands. The interiors have survived remarkably intact. There is a gorgeous wedding hall with 17th-century paintings and an antique weapons collection, with arquebuses, morning stars and halberds. The building services as a centre for culture, history and tourism, and admission is free. The Tourist Information Point (TIP) volunteers give visitors a warm welcome and lots of information.
